Are you dreaming of becoming a childminder but aren’t sure where to start? Or maybe you need a little guidance or a confidence boost along the way? I’m here to help.

I’m Caitlin, childminder and owner of The Flower Cottage. With over 10 years’ experience in Early Years childcare, I know the joys and challenges of this work first-hand. From starting out as a young Nursery Nurse to running my own OFSTED Outstanding setting, I’ve learned what works — and I love sharing that knowledge with others.

I offer friendly, practical support and mentoring for aspiring and registered childminders. Together, we can explore training, tools, and tips to help you set up successfully, prepare for your OFSTED inspection, or simply feel more confident in your journey.

Evening mentoring sessions are available Monday–Wednesday, 6:30–8:30 pm, via phone, Teams, or FaceTime — whatever suits you best. There’s no contract, and you can stop whenever you feel ready to go it alone.
