The Curiosity Approach

At The Flower Cottage, we are truly inspired by the key principles of The Curiosity Approach, particularly its focus on curiosity, independence, creativity and child-led learning. We were delighted to have our setting featured on The Curiosity Approach Facebook page, where you can view photographs and a video showcasing our environment.

I am pleased that childminders have the opportunity to complete the accreditation alongside nurseries and other early years settings. I believe this approach can benefit children regardless of the type of childcare they attend.

Since embedding elements of The Curiosity Approach into our setting, we have seen a noticeable and continuing impact on the children’s development. Their confidence, independence, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning truly shine through, and it is wonderful to see them becoming increasingly confident and capable learners.
