In February 2025, we began fundraising for our own defibrillator for both business and community use. Initially, we planned to install the defibrillator outside our setting and family home to ensure easy public access, including for ourselves. However, after thoroughly considering the pros and cons, we realised the risk of vandalism was too high. Therefore, we decided it was best to place the device indoors.

Our defibrillator is now securely mounted on the wall caddy in the welcome area at The Flower Cottage. The battery has been inserted, and the necessary tests have been completed. It is fully operational and ready for use if needed.

In the event of a public emergency requiring the defibrillator, please press the blue LED button on the electric gates outside the cottage. We will promptly bring the defibrillator to you. Additionally, our defibrillator can be located on the defib finder by entering our postcode and setting name at https://www.defibfinder.uk.
