A Very Special Achievement for The Flower Cottage 

We are beyond thrilled and incredibly proud to share some very special news...

And we are absolutely over the moon to announce that The Flower Cottage has won Childminding Business of the Year 2026! 

This award means so much to us. The Flower Cottage is so much more than a childcare setting, it is a little community built on love, trust, care and the belief that every child deserves the very best start in life.

Every day, we pour our hearts into what we do, creating a home-from-home where children can feel safe, happy, valued and confident to be themselves. To have that dedication recognised on such a special stage is something we will always treasure.

We are so incredibly grateful to all of the wonderful families who have trusted us with their little ones and allowed us to be part of their children's journeys. Your support, kind words and belief in what we do mean more than you know.

This award is a celebration of our children, our families and everything that makes The Flower Cottage so special.

Regional childminder of the year 2026 - Coram Pacey

The Flower Cottage is absolutely delighted to share that we were named the Coram PACEY Regional Childminder of the Year 2026 Runner-Up! 

We are incredibly proud to have received this recognition and feel so grateful to all of the wonderful children and families who are part of our journey. Your continued support, trust, and encouragement mean the world to us and inspire everything we do each day.

A huge congratulations to the well-deserved winner - what an amazing achievement! It is such an honour to be recognised alongside so many passionate and dedicated childcare professionals.

We are super pleased to announce we have made the finals for the Nursery World Awards 2025. Second year running!

We are so proud of our award as we work incredibly hard to ensure our provision is to the highest standard with the most outstanding environment for the children to enjoy their Early Years learning journey.

We are so immensely proud of all of the other winners, highly commended organisations and finalists in every single category.

Mayor's Ball and Civic Awards 2025

On Friday 25th April 2025 The Flower Cottage attended The Mayor's Ball and Civic Awards and we are incredibly proud to announce that we won The Thomas Attwood Award for Education! We were delighted to receive this award and it was a wonderful celebratory evening.

Dudley Borough Community Awards 2024

In December 2024, we attended the Dudley Borough Community Awards 2024, The Flower Cottage made the finals and was shortlisted for 'Independent Business Of The Year'. We had a fantastic time attending the community ceremony and enjoyed discovering so many incredible businesses around our local area. 

Nursery World Awards 2024

In September 2024 we attended the Nursery World Awards 2024, we made the finals and I was shortlisted for 'Independent Childminder Of The Year'. We had a wonderful time at the prestigious awards ceremony, it was incredible to meet so many people who also work in the Early Years sector.
