Nursery World Awards 2025

We are super pleased to announce we have made the finals for the Nursery World Awards 2025. Second year running!

This year we have been shortlisted for 3 categories:

- Childminding Business of the Year

- Enabling Environments Award

- Working with Parents Award

We are so excited to share that The Flower Cottage is the WINNER of 'Enabling Environments Award'.

We are so proud of our award as we work incredibly hard to ensure our provision is to the highest standard with the most outstanding environment for the children to enjoy their Early Years learning journey.

We are so immensely proud of all of the other winners, highly commended organisations and finalists in every single category.

Mayor's Ball and Civic Awards 2025

On Friday 25th April 2025 The Flower Cottage attended The Mayor's Ball and Civic Awards and we are incredibly proud to announce that we won The Thomas Attwood Award for Education! We were delighted to receive this award and it was a wonderful celebratory evening.

Dudley Borough Community Awards 2024

In December 2024, we attended the Dudley Borough Community Awards 2024, The Flower Cottage made the finals and was shortlisted for 'Independent Business Of The Year'. We had a fantastic time attending the community ceremony and enjoyed discovering so many incredible businesses around our local area. 

Nursery World Awards 2024

In September 2024 we attended the Nursery World Awards 2024, we made the finals and I was shortlisted for 'Independent Childminder Of The Year'. We had a wonderful time at the prestigious awards ceremony, it was incredible to meet so many people who also work in the Early Years sector.
